The Cacophony of the Deep

Oceans are some of the richest sound environments on the planet. Sound travels almost five times faster through sea water than it does through air. The noise produced by a coral reef can be used as an indicator of its health. Anand Jagartia visited the University of Cambridge to learn more about the cacophony of the deep.
