In the 18th century, there were genuine medicines called Alan's nipple liniment and Grimston's eye snuff. A lot of patent medicines really consisted only of sort of 50% alcohol. There was a second Denis Menis who made his debut in America. And they had a very similar look, and they were done completely independently of each other. It was like deep impact in Armageddon.
