The Rosenberg Case - A Brief History
Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were charged with conspiracy to commit espionage under the 1917 Espionage Act. The case was caught up in a tide of growing anti-communist hysteria as President Harry Truman saw it as a chance to strike back against communism.
