Eugenic sterilization was never legalized in britain, but there were a lot of campaigns to bring i on. It disproportionately affected people of color, solatino and black people especially. People with disabilities were the pime kind of target. But at the time, what counted as a disability was quite different to what might be considered a disability now. There's quite a few cases of men and boys being sterilized for masturbation,. Because that was considered a mental illness and a disability, it's really shocking.

The US supreme court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade will have a significant impact on the reproductive health and the safety of women who become pregnant in the US. Researchers have estimated it could increase maternal mortality in the country by 20%.
