CHAPTER

The Science Can't Tell You Anything About How Individuals Perform

I think the science can't tell you anything about how individuals perform. The science tells you about group averages, males and females or different kinds of groups. And we know historically there has been discrimination against women. So it would be terrible if politicians or policymakers were using the science to say, this is why we should recruit more men into certain fields than women. This would be an injustice and it would be repeating the mistakes of sexism in the past.
