A French company have developed a massive kite. Its about the size of two basketball corts and they're attaching it to a french cargo ship called ville de bordeaux. What they think is that it can reduce the use of fuel and other omissions from the voyage by around 20%. And it's significant cart because the shipping industry is responsible for two to three % of global omissions. But what i find really interesting, cause the cargo ship that they are testing it on, its job is actually to ferry aeroplanes famous for not being climate friendly.
