Can I Get an Ambulance for a Heroin Overdose?

Annie watched Joe suffer all weekend, literally almost 36 hours until Sunday when she finally picked up the phone. But she did not call Australian 911, which I believe is zero zero zero. Rather, she called the friend who had sold her the heroin. According to one interview, this person told her quote, "If you call an ambulance now, you'll have a very angry boyfriend" It took 20 minutes for emergency services to arrive as opposed to three or four minutes because of Anu stalling and incorrect information.
