Finding Your Voice
The way in which she wrote about her process, for me, that i found revelatory was that it was really personal. For me, it was about trusting that my voice and my experience had something to contribute. I didn't need lots of fancy words. And this through which you're in a very different place, then somebody sets you up an essay question, and you respond to it. You're setting up your own questions, your responding to your own thinking, and you'r finding your own way of expressing that am. That's the idea trying things on is really gorgeous.
