The History of Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is an island off the coast of India, the southeastern coast. It was a central point for so many trade routes over the years. There are primarily about four ethnic groups: Sinhalese, Muslim population, Tamil and indigenous populations. The use of lime and coconut and fish there brings this sense of umami to everything that they cook.
