Is There a Conflict Between Parking and Walking?
The study was funded by the Urban Mobility Innovation Fund. The next two years really looks at how it can be implemented and scaled up to other cities in India as well. Sornal: There is certainly a conflict because you have pedestrians walking on the road because you have vehicles who are parked on the footpoints. So there is that conflict certainly because they don't have a good walking experience.
