The Doomer's Perspective on the Future
The world just isn't gonna end like no matter how you slice it even if we have nuclear war. Even the collapse of the Soviet Union will be a far more recognizable event than any decline that we're seeing now. My sense is that everything just declines. It just declines. And we've seen these declines multiple times in history before. If you want a fairly recent example go and look at the decline of British living standards in the 1920s.
