The Marabenong Forearm Tattoo
A forearm was discovered in the Marabenong River on February 5. Police and emergency service personnel then spotted a second human limb two kilometers downstream, under an Eapton Street pedestrian bridge. Forensic pathologists confirmed all body parts belonged to the same unidentified male. The victim had been murdered and dismembered elsewhere before being used as a dumping ground for his remains. Search efforts continued overnight but were called off due to lack of visibility. Detectives are now trying to identify the victim using only one clue they have so far: His distinctive Pitchfork-wielding devil tattoo.
