What indications does the text of Revelation itself give you that there's going to be some symbology at work in the text? So I think it starts right up front with the very first verse of the book where it's it says it's the revelation of Jesus Christ and he is signifying it or making it known by signs to his servant or his slave John. The book tells you in the first verse like be prepared for a lot of symbolism and for a lots of signs throughout this book, so don't expect a straightforward discursive epistle here. This is a book of symbols and simple symbolismYou know one to one how this is actually going to work in a in a historical fashion.
