Why Aren't B I Engines a Good Idea?
Data warehouses are not really built for subsequent analytic so you have to do all these unnatural things. The architecture is about, oh, ina, i'm going to be spending on huge volumes of data. And the real reason is, vadhouses assume the data is immutable. You go ask anybody that has tried to use tour data warehouse, and they have an absurd work load. Go talk to anyone. They would have a lot of scars a to show you on how difficult it is to work with a lake or Data Lake. If you're doing your warehouse or yur lake wrong, you're doing it wrong. Don't build your applications on there but don't do anything else
