Introduction
In Proverbs chapter 2, the father takes up his address to his son again. Bruce Walki observes that this chapter could be regarded as an alphabetic poem. The first half concerns the formative effect of wisdom upon the young man and the second half the way that this formation will lead to the son's deliverance from a series of particular dangers.
