The piece came out of my inauguration as the 13th president of Allen University. I was thinking about imagination really from two or three key perspectives. My mission in life is to make sure other young women don't have to hope for a lucky break, but instead that we build systems that allow them to be successful. To me, there's nothing more important than imagination and the liberal arts."
