How to Demonstrate You're a Strategist
At the beginning of my career, I was coming up against a struggle where everybody thought they could do what I could do. But once I started positioning myself as a strategist, the person who does the thinking, that's when everything really started to change for me. And so your clients stop thinking about you as the person I'm hiring, because I don't have time to do it myself. So in my case, I'm no longer a pen for hire; I am a strategist. This is how you get clients to trust you and to trust that you are the expert. It's also how you charge a whole lot more.
