Jason: Do you always need a backend in your app? There's a lot of reasons why you probably could get away with it, get away with an app without a backend. Jason: You could use a third party service as essentially your database if they have some way of doing that. If you're using music kit or using YouTube API or something like that, you could just use that as your back end.
