By the evening of the 6th of December, there's a narrow bridgehead. So Sea Company is going up the Windy Valley Road that drops down from San Napolitano on the southern side of the Morro Valley. And then clambered up using the road that leads up to San Leonardo from the Valley floor. Bee Company was going into one of these weird gullies, these weird chasms, gorges, that run on a line sort of south west, north-west line beneath San Leonardo. But you totally can see why this proves such a tough nut to crack. Of their sappers did manage to bridge it below Villa Regatti, which they then christened
