Are You Having That Brave Conversation With Your Direct Report?
When we're thinking about brave spaces, a lot of times we don't have that luxury. We cannot force a safe space and if we try to create that safe space by mandating certain behaviors, it might be taken the wrong way. So you are that manager and you need to have that brave conversation with your direct report. When not only you as a people leader needs to give feedback to your direct report, but when your direct report needs to given feedback to you, you should be brave enough to get that critical feedback from the person you're leading.
