If it comes from an animal, you generally don't eat it. When we look at these vegetarian and plant-based diets in the literature, they generally do quite well across a wide range of health outcomes. But that's not to say that vegetarian and vegan diets are not without shortcomings. If you're on a vegan diet, it's probably a good idea to lift weights.
