The Story of Brit Lapthorn

Dale and Ilka Lapthorn were unaware that their daughter had disappeared from a Dabrovnik nightclub days earlier. It wasn't until September 24, when Brit Lapthorn had been unaccounted for for a week the local police formally considered her a missing person. They gave the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade her mission to inform Brit's family in Australia. With Brit's family now involved, a missing person report was issued by Victoria Police and faxed through to Australian Federal Police. Dale and Ilka feared their daughter had met with foul play.
