The Importance of Silence
The story is kind of evoking that feeling of waiting for something or not. The moment of the pianist waiting to play is amazing. He's using silence on the audience just as powerfully, maybe. But there's also something very narcissistic about that. You're sort of torturing everybody in the audience.
