What Do We Do About This?

A large faction of the republican party has been taken over by a movement that is growing ever more extremist by the day. The state party adopted a platform that declares joe byden's victory illegitimate and says homosexuality is an abnormal life style choice. Even there are obviously elected republicans who would prefer that their party not act like this, but none of them have the courage to say anything about it. And so they continue to coddle it. So why would they do anything different? They think it is in their political interest to welcome this, this extremist fringe, into their party, to elevate it and to coddled it.
