Doke: We've got to do our best to identify patients in whom an acute aortic syndrome could be responsible for their symptoms. And we know that definitive diagnosis and treatment now can only begin once weren hospital, because there is no magic test or magic bullet that we can do in the pre hospital setting. A retrospective study found that of patients who reported pain and were subsequently diagnosed with an acute aotic cendroman dissection, 89 % said that their pain was very severe or severe. But only forty seven percent were actually given pain relief. On handover suspicion of dissection was only reported in 17% of these patients. So i think this study probably hihligts the
