Latour's Capitalism

There seems to be a specifically existentialist critique that Latour is making of capitalism. It's less a critique based on injustice or imminent crisis like in Marx say, then the idea that just profit seeking is impoverished and self-deluding. For him, capitalism was a bit like the state or society. And he will simply ask, what exactly do you mean by this thing called capitalism that you're invoking?
