China's Energy Policy - Develop the New Before Disposing the Old
China says it will increase coal production to 4.6 billion tons by 2025. That's a 12% increase over last year's 4.1 billion tons. Also said during the press conference, quote, China will vigorously enhance oil and gas exploration and development. The Chinese confirmed that they will still continue to build out dirty green technologies.
