What St. Thomas Means by Natural Law?
St. Thomas calls this divine rule over the university eternal law and he tells us that natural law is the rational creatures participation in eternal law. But if our nature as I sit related a moment ago is freely created by God then we can also say thatnatural law is from God. It has a divine origin and expresses the divine will. Divine providence, divine providence which I also sit related a minute ago is just another way of talking about God's rule over the universe.
