Immigrants in the united states are much less crime prone than native born americans. Forty nine out of 50 American states do not keep data on criminal convictions or arrests by imigration status. In many european countries, if you're an emigrant and you become a citizen, they count you in the same category as native born people for crime. The type of person who decides to emigrate is different trom the type of person that doesn't.
