Getting the Most Out of Grad School

I was reading Ernst Meyer's 800-page book on how new species form. He invited me to a weekly coffee with graduate students, about 15 of them. And then he ended up having a separate session with me every Thursday morning where we'd meet for about an hour or 45 minutes. So I just sit there and listen the whole time. It was a real treat.
