Is Silicon Valley the Exception to the Rule?
I think two things help obviously Silicon Valley is both prior successful companies and great universities. And I would say that universities are kind of funny about where they're good at. So if you want to make a database company, Wisconsin might be a good place to do it, or at least to put core engineering.
