I would have a wearable on my, I have a type of watch that measures my sleep. And I've noticed that sometimes it will tell me the next morning that I actually got too much REM sleep. Is there such a thing as too much REM or even too much sleep in general? So yes and no. Getting too much sleep is very hard to do because first of all, let's look at the opposite of that. Your sleep isn't like debt that you can repay at the bank. But if you sleep five hours a night during the week and think that you can just make up for it on the weekend, you can't.
