The Transhumanist Era of Contraception

The arrival of the contraceptive pill in the 1960s and the effect that had in term in what that did in terms of privatizing sexuality. It's very hard to see actually from a vantage point of now, because we've been living in the contraceptive era for longer than I've been alive. And so it's very difficult to comprehend the idea of a world where it really wasn't true that sexuality was a private matter. Because that just seems to be the case now.
