Katherine Bursner's new book is about a man who tries to find the courtroom. He goes up and down hallways asking random people if they know what court is. The judge yells at him for being more than an hour late, which in Germany is punishment by death. "I'm not guilty of anything. I didn't do anything," he says after his arrest.
