James Hanratty was one of the last people in Britain to be executed by hanging. The Secretary had seen Marietz perform before, he would occasionally get up on stage at the Starlight Rooms and duet with Elke Vux. She'd seen him do that, but was newly impressed by his group and passed word onto her boss that this was a group he should investigate.
