A car chase is just a car chase until you put something emotional in it and that makes it three dimensional. That's exactly right. I always use the example from Mr and Mrs Smith. Their house blows up and then they steal a car from the next door. Right. What vehicle could be more representative of a family than a minivan? It's all about setting him up as a character that needs money works out of a nail salon. He drives a cheap car. He needs money needs money need money.
