The Effects of Napping on Sleep Inertia

The non-rem to REM cycle in us human beings is about 90 minutes in length. On average, by 18 minutes, you start to run the risk of going down into deep non-rem sleep. Once your naps go beyond around 20 minutes in duration on average, that's when you start to likely run into the risk of being hit with heavy sleep inertia.
