The Importance of Relating to Yourself

Anxiety is the emotion of threat, right? Anxiety is the signal that I feel threatened. And yet, oftentimes it's an unknown threat. You just react in anxiety. On one hand, oh gosh, a lot could go wrong. If this doesn't go right, all really bad things can happen and they're terrifying. And another part going, then I've got to make sure that it all goes right. It's like getting up to bat and saying, if you don't hit a grand slam every time, the whole season's over. That is intense pressure.
