The more competition we have and the more specialized each platform is, it kind of doesn't matter if it's centralized or not. They're all different. So that's why things like activity pub, which is what Mastodon uses as its protocol are supposed to make social media one protocol so you can post one thing and it shows up everywhere on the internet. That's what people are trying to break. I do think it might be too. Everyone who wants to break this probably wants to make a ton of money also.
Back to a regular news week! Marques, Andrew, and David discuss the news that Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro are coming to the iPad! After that, they discuss a cool dashcam feature that could be coming to Android phones before jumping into all of the different Twitter alternatives that the team has tried out over the last few months. We wrap it all up with a new company that will give you a free TV (in exchange for all of your data) and then close it out with trivia. This episode is pure chaos in the best way possible. Enjoy!
