i had it as a naive assumption that when somebody is on their death bed and they say, now, this is what life's all about. It seems like we should actually go around to people who are dying and ask them, like, how should i live my life? And their answers might actually be wise, like, you know, of some deep source of wisdomcause theyare looking back on there, on their whole length. But neil leve, who i know, he's a philosopher who does a lot of free will stuff, he is sceptical that there is some sort of privileged, epistemic perspective that comes from the death bed.
