What Is Biblical Theology?

Biblical theology seeks to articulate the history of redemption as embodied in scripture. It traces this narrative of redemption according to the rules it finds within the narrative itself, according to the laws and adjustments. So if we're doing a biblical theology of Genesis 3.15, we're going to trace this theme that is here introduced. We shouldn't be afraid to allow subsequent scripture to tease out what's implicit in it more explicitly.
