The Nationalists and the Free Trader's Dissension
The nationalists stress the point that there is an irreconcilable conflict between the interests of various nations. A nation can prosper only at the expense of other nations, they argue. The liberals have a different opinion and believe that peaceful international co operation is a more appropriate means than conflict for attainment of the end which both parties are aiming at.
