Modernizing World History in 9th Grade
10th grade is very much about European colonialism. I find 10th grade to be even more Eurocentric in the sense that when the rest of the world shows up often, it's about how they're responding to Europe. In ninth grade and ancient to medieval world history seems like the point where we can really appreciate the cultural richness of our whole world.
