FX Strategy

FX was originally developed as a defensive measure but a huge part of the market is now speculative. Private equity investors are not currency speculators so you would not expect them to suddenly develop strategies to profit off of swings and currency moves. But if you are an international investor who invests in several different jurisdictions in Europe who are outside of the EU, you need to have something in place that is circumscribed by your risk appetite etc. That informs what kinds of solutions you use and how you deploy them.
