i just don't get if we are gambling as heavily on science and technology to provide us with the silver bullets to deal with the sort of environmental, anthropocenic challenges that ahead. Americans spend 35 billion dollars a year on pet food and treats, and we don't come close to that kind of spending on adventurous energy research. We're talking about two related, beslide diffrent things whith jus, the supply side h economy and the demand sient. The more you push demand, the more we can expect to generate productivity increases in response. And i think that's relitiz ing when you get your sayng tat, it's really important to have that research in
