Prayer breakfast is often exercises in what's called civil or civic religion but nonetheless i know of no previous example where anyone showed up much less a member of congress and basically talked about fornication or pre-marital sex as if that's the obvious way to get people's attention. The political class responded with a good deal of snickering here you had also Sean Hannity at Fox News who basically made light of it even as he had the member of congress on his program laterThe same night i decided i needed to watch the video the entire event was absolutely what you would expect absolutely predictable in terms of a political prayer breakfast but the comments made by representative mace they really were
