Is Death a New Year's Resolution?

My mother had cancer of the oesophagus. Death wasn't a novelty in the mines. Life was ephemeral, and you didn't have the least power to resist it. I despatched my best years into five thousand metr depths. My body holds three tons of explosives, and they are detonators. In the night, in front of beds, the blast spills me across the ground like rebble. It is unyielding. Hook black bearing the air, picks acute angles, brush against the rock, and it bleeds. O over and over, i split the strata at their seams, remaking my life in the process.
