Rhaenyra is one of the most emotionally mature people in the whole, you know, house of the dragons. She doesn't want war. She wants peace. But at this point also, she wants Maelis. Eve loved that dragon. So I think there's so many things coming into play. It's a testament to Sarah Hess's writing this scene because it really gets right to the heart of what Allison's trying to do.
