The Mind and the Sun

In Ryanam, Manas Chasmi, among all the senses, I am the mind. So here is a big debate, is the mind a sense or not? The traditional conclusion is that the mind is not a sense, sense organ. But Krishna seems to favor this, the latter view. He says, among the sense organs, among the organs, I am mind.
