How to Engage in Scriptural Scholarship

i think that often those fresh insights and those additional perspectives can come through a meaningful engagement with scriptural scholarship. And there's smething about that process of learning new things and growing in our knowledge of a topic or a scriptural text, that kind of re sparks the spiritual experience for many people. i think we naturally gravitate towards approaching scripture with faith and testimony and belief and an interest in spiritual application. But sometimes we need a little more encouragement, maybe a litle more direction and how to approach this by study and wit.
